My love for spicy food..
As a child we never ate spicy food, if memory serves me right, my mom used Raja and Vinegar to make curry. All other foods was coated in salt and pepper, thyme and various other herbs.
I absolutely loved my mom’s “fake” curry and i think my love for strong spicy food stemmed from that one dish.
It wasn’t until i met my husband that i knew what real curry tasted like, i didn’t know what spices they used, but i knew it gave my love for food a whole new meaning.
Cooking curry is all about the spice, here is the spice that i use and i can with much certainty say it took me a good couple of years to master cooking curry..
